Dear Resident, Tyburn Neighbourhood Team Weekly round up
Here’s our weekly round up from the Tyburn Neighbourhood Policing Team:
Tyburn Neighbourhood Officers have been conducting proactive patrols across the Tyburn area and conducting weapon sweeps (searches) on local grassed areas and park areas as part of Op Sceptre week. PCSO’S have been working with our partner agencies, such as housing and schools to tackle anti-social behaviour that local youths have recently caused to Castle Vale residents, shops, eating establishments and bus services. Identified youths have received written warnings. We are in the process of identifying further youths. The last Easter school holidays saw a large increase in poor youth behaviour in the Tyburn area and this will not be tolerated. Can we please remind our Tyburn residents to ensure they keep their properties and vehicles safe during the current hot weather we are having. We all leave windows wide open on houses and vehicles to cool them down and often forget we have done so. Hot weather often sees an increase in vehicle crime and burglaries due to an increase in opportunity for the opportunist thief. WE WISH ALL OUR TYBURN RESIDENTS A GOOD AND SAFE MAY BANK HOLIDAY WEEK!

Have you heard of Ask the Police? It is an official Policing resource that provides Q&A’s to a variety of the most frequently asked policing questions. It offers an alternative to online non-emergency reporting, reducing calls to the police and freeing up resources. This does NOT replace 999 for emergency concerns. Home (askthe.police.uk)
